FCS MF-2 Fins - Mick Fanning Fins (Thruster)

The FCS MF-2 Is HERE! We are pleased to announce the arrival of Mick Fanning’s new signature fin, the MF-2. These hot new fins were developed with 2 time World Champ Mick Fanning.

FCS MF-2 Performance Core Carbon Fins
The MF-2 features the same Tricoil Technology that is in the MF-1 but on a smaller template, giving it a looser feel designed for high performance power surfing or slightly smaller surfers. Mick Fanning's signature fins come as a thruster set and are ideal for performance shortboard and fish models. The MF-2 is a Medium Fin that are super thin, to give you that extra cut through the water. It also lets you push really hard and releases really well, because it has a very consistent sweep. These fins are hot and will sell out fast.

FCS II MF-2 Fin Material
Performance Core Carbon yields a high performance lightweight fin with Carbon strategically placed to give the fin the best flex patterns possible. FCS II Performance Core Carbon now uses a NEW PCC construction with ‘Linear Flex’ which produces a 3D twist & roll action resulting in a fast, super responsive fin that feels much smoother through turns. Performance Core Carbon fins suit fast surfing and are favored by more advanced surfers who like to perform explosive turns on critical parts of the wave.

Great hold, drive, and speed. Never went right with these fins, but were great backside in draining tubes.

Overall a very good fin...turned nicely with a quick release when snapping the lip...held up well with late take offs...especially in the barrel.

The MF 2s are a good set of fins...the template is really swept back and the fins themselves very light and flexy. Seems like these fins are designed for down the line carving maneuvers...The tricoil carbon loads up and releases energy. However that feel might seem a bit "sluggish" on smaller waves. I wanna come back to these when we have bigger better surf on Oahu this winter...should be interesting!

I liked them. The template doesn't look much different than Kelly's, but I like the glass flex feel/response.
